Tamarind Hills Antigua - Luxurious In The Caribbean
I think 2020 has taught us all one thing; never take anything for granted. Take a break, take time to value moments, and shower yourself in the luxuries that you desire. If you’re someone like me who doesn’t usually celebrate your birthday, celebrate for once. You are truly deserving. A place that will take you there is Tamarind Hills Antigua.
Location
A little over 30-minutes by car from Hewanorra International (UVF) airport, you will arrive at this luxurious property spanning the Caribbean ocean. Private, cozy, and A- list worthy, Tamarind Hills is the perfect home away from home with single rooms and villas with up to 4 bedrooms. This property is the kind of property where your wish is their command. There is nothing that too grand for them to take care of while you are a guest here.
Check-In
Checking in was a breeze as concierge awaits you arrival at the gate. Since this property is massive you are greeted privately in the front and taken to your choice of villa or room to start your unwinding process. Waking up to a direct view of the calm Caribbean ocean is what a getaway is all about.
The Room and Property
I did not realize how enormous Tamarind Hills was until I did a full tour of the property. This expansive property is filled with a plethora of ensuite rooms (with more being built as we speak), and large luxury rentals. You are sure to find an accommodation for you and your party. I stayed two nights in one of their villas and two nights in a beach view room.
During my visit the property is under construction making room for more guests as well as a restaurant and public pool.

The Villa
The private villa is perfect for a family of four. A 2-floor suite complete with kitchen and living room on the first floor and 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms on the second floor. Magnificent views can be seen from every crevice of this villa. The soaking bath tub in the master bedroom is perfect for unwinding. We love spacious closet for all of the lovely garments that we packed.

Ensuite Room
I enjoyed the last half of my trip solo. Here is when I moved to the other side of this property and stayed in a beautiful room that didn’t lack any frills. The bohemian architecture and modern color palette released serotonin as I entered.

I have yet to see a bathroom that I can top this one a shower, tub, and powered room all in one. I felt beautiful just getting ready here.
This room may be smaller in size than a villa, however it still offers similar amenities. A small kitchenette with fridge and a small stove. What I really loved was the jacuzzi on my private terrace.

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay with Tamarind Hills it is luxury at its finest. Should you need car service, booking an excursion or even some groceries they are just a call away.
