Egypt was very exhausting, luckily when we got to Luxor we knew what we were in for. A cab driver tried to charge us 100 pounds for a 6 minute ride. I called him out and argue with him that my husband is Egyptian (a lie, I’m not married lol) and that we visit all the time and that is not the correct price. We got the ride for 20 pounds. We ended up meeting some locals and they pretty much told us the “Egyptian” prices for things which was about a quarter of what we were paying for everything. That instantly got us upset and couldn’t WAIT to leave the country.

When staying in Luxor I would suggest staying in the East bank, though the West Bank is beautiful and have more attractions. The East bank is an easy commute to the train or airport. The only way to the West Bank is my boat and that’s a bit much with luggage. It is easier to take the quick boat ride across the Nile during the day to your attractions, my opinion. Luxor is such a historical city. I would recommend 2-3 days here so that you can take your time. I was so over Egypt that I only spent a full day here and was satisfied. Here are a few of my own highlights from my day. I have included the prices as well.

The event that marks the summer is officially back after a 3-year hiatus. The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is returning to Liberty State Park this June!
It’s been a while since I’ve been on a long haul vacation. What I love most about longer vacations is the variety of outfits I can serve. I spent a total of 9 days between Senegal and The Gambia. Here are some looks you can achieve on your next vacation.
I spent a wonderful week soaking up the sun rays on the remarkable island of Roatan, Honduras. A much-needed getaway to say the least, with the emergence of the way we vacationed pre-pandemic. With that being said, what is a vacation without vacation looks? Here is everything I wore and some inspo for your future travels.
In today’s efforts to combat overconsumption and become more sustainable, a lot of people are turning to vintage and pre-owned items. This isn’t something that is new for me, as I literally shop anywhere that sells clothes. However, when making certain purchases I do find it more valuable to be to go the vintage route.
Sometimes I look at the items with tags and think to myself “I could’ve invested in Amazon stocks with that” or that money could’ve gone towards something that I really really want.
For me, personally; comfort is always key, but presentation is ALWAYS everything! It doesn’t matter where you go ladies. Whether you’re running errands, going to the gym, teleworking, traveling, or late night creeping to “ya boo tings” house you gotta look good doing it.
As we are all aware, the entire world has completely shifted from freedom to complete uncertainty. Not knowing what tomorrow will bring is enough to keep us anxious and worried. For my fashionistas I know you are dying to debut your daily drip but that isn’t possible unless you’re one of those “get dressed to sit in the living room” type.
As you may know the Christian Louboutin Sample sale is a highly coveted event that only a few lucky individuals are invited to. The “important” fashionistas like celebrities, magazine editors and now influencers are invited to shop. The event happens twice a year and I was lucky enough to attend both this year.
Hey aunties, I just got back from an enviable trip to the South of France. It was everything I imagined it to be plus more! You can read my all about the parts that I visited here. Believe it or not, I packed very light and everything fit in y carry on bag. My trip was a very short 4 days and here’s what I wore.
I save up all year and mostly purchase my designer items in Europe because in addition to them already being less expensive I also get VAT tax back on top of that, making savings to about 30%. This applies to most big European brands.
Many women dream of buying their most coveted luxury item in Paris to feel chic, glamourous and save a lot of money. Many will argue its the “best” savings, I am here to tell you it is NOT!
A highlight of Turkey is their amazing carpets. Most countries that make carpets only knot them one time, Turkey is known for their sturdy double knot carpets which they rave about. During my time in Cappadocia, Turkey I visited a couple carpet shops.
Tokyo is known as a fashion capital outside of the Big Four. They offer your not so typical everyday looks with quirky layers and accessories.
Coachella has beautifully shifted from just a musical festival to also being as fashion showcase. From Boho Chic to skimpy cow girl, the fashion is definitely eye catching. Check out my looks for the weekend.
Aspen during ski season is a reason to show off your lovely warm weather garments. From fur coats to snow suits. Something that isn’t promoted often, winter vacations bring a different fashion taste.
Have you ever been to Egypt?
I found the Aliexpress vacation goodies, so you don’t have to! Enjoy, and thank me later =)
